03. Payment & Billing
We operate transparently. All financial obligations will be outlined in your specific Project Proposal.
Typically, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to commence work. The remaining balance is due upon project completion, before final file handover or deployment.
Invoices strictly due within 14 days. Late payments may incur a 5% interest fee per month. Work may be paused if payments are overdue.
04. Intellectual Property
Understanding who owns what is crucial for a healthy agency-client relationship:
- Client Ownership: Upon full payment, the client owns the finished website design, HTML/CSS, and specific graphic assets.
- Webtizo Rights: Webtizo retains the right to use the work for portfolio and marketing purposes. We retain ownership of underlying reusable code libraries or tools used.
- Content: You guarantee that all text, images, and media you provide do not infringe on any third-party copyrights.
05. Client Obligations
To ensure we meet deadlines for your web design project, we require:
1. Timely Assets: All logos, text, and images must be provided before
development begins.
2. Feedback: Prompt reviews of design drafts (within 3 business days) to
prevent delays.
3. Access: Credentials for hosting or domain registrars if deployment is
required.
06. Limitation of Liability
Webtizo is not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services. We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings (SEO results) as algorithms change frequently.
While we implement strict security measures, we are not liable for damages caused by third-party hacking, hosting failures, or malicious software.
